weekend read
Finished reading: The Rainmaker by John Grisham
I first started reading this book last summer (2007) before we had our first US trip. I was about a third or so of the book when I left it. Didn’t have a chance to finish since. I looked at my shelf and found it with my bookmark—still. It’s quite interesting for me because now that summer is officially over, we’ll be going to the US, again. I decided that I will have it for the weekend and read the entire book from the beginning to finally get over it. And so I did. I was so happy I did. It was a good read. After I got through the parts I read before, everything is amazing! The John Grisham mark still leaves it with splendor. I think the best part of the book for me is when the struggling lawyer made history. I like the idea. This was the same principle we follow at our youth ministry: Let's make history together.
